Macrame Craft Kits
These Make-Rame™ Mini Macrame Wall Hanging Kits update the retro art form of macrame with modern style. An easy and satisfying craft, with a few simple knots you get an amazing wall hanging that will complement nearly any decor and will last for years. Once completed, these easy-knotting mini macrame projects can be proudly hung in a small space where they can be admired. All you need for tools will be scissors and a yardstick or meter stick. The project time to complete is about 2 to 4 hours, so this is a great independent craft activity or for teens to adults that are interested in learning knotting techniches, and as an alternative to weaving or stitching.
The macrame kits include:
- 2mm unbleaches off-white cotton cord
- Natural wood branch with bark for a unique hanging rod
- Complete illustrated instructions that walk you through each knot
Tassels & Twists
For this design, you will use the most basic of knots! A simple, yet fancy look. The finished project measures 5”W x 14”L.
Fringe
Soft and satisfying! A few knots define the graceful curves, and give way to a full fringe to enhance your wall. This particular design may benefit from the use of a fabric finish or spray stiffener to help control the frizz. The final project measures 8”W x 17”L.
Three Leaves
The soft curves of each leaf motif contrast gently with the triangles in a bit of yin-yang in this unique design. We love the leaf style theme! The finished project measures 5”W x 19”L.
