I am fortunate to have been invited to give hundreds of workshops, talks and presentations the past 20 years. Many of these are at professional development events. Professional development is 'big business' with globally billions of dollars annually invested in teacher and educator continuing learning (Kraft et al., 2018). The rationale for this spend is improvement in student outcomes (teacher PD) and player outcomes (coach PD).
