‘Tis the season to rest, reflect, and recharge. As we begin the holiday break, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all the relentless school nurses out there. You have poured your heart and soul into caring for our students, families, and communities, and now it’s time to prioritize your well-deserved self-care.
The holiday season can be a whirlwind of activity, but I encourage you to carve out some time for yourself. Whether it’s curling up with a good book, taking a nature walk, or simply enjoying a quiet moment of reflection, find what brings you peace and joy.
Your well-being is just as important as the care you provide to others. As we look ahead to the new year, let’s also take this opportunity to reflect on the impact we’ve made and the challenges we’ve overcome. Your dedication and resilience have been nothing short of inspiring, and I am honored to be part of this incredible community of school nurses.
So, as you savor this holiday season, I hope you find moments of rest, experiences that recharge your spirit, and the chance to reflect on the meaningful work you do. Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful and joyous holiday.
With gratitude,
Robin Cogan
