Happy Spring! Time has been flying by this year, and I realized I haven't posted in awhile. I want to share some videos of the Dance Unit the Music teacher and I taught to our students. We have a tradition of combining our classes to teach a dance unit together the week before spring break. We always have fun, and the students learn a large variety of dances!

Live Session: Back Foot Receiving & Forward Passing

In our latest live session UEFA A licensed coach, Dave Wright shares an opposed passing practice which focusses on body shape when receiving, and playing forward whenever possible. This session can be used as a lead in to a small sided game and is a great way to begin your practice. The structure can also be adapted based on your team shape to focus on midfielders receiving and playing forward.

On rare occasions, this could take the form of concussion, which is something that players, parents and especially coaches have a duty to handle sensibly.
