The Relentless School Nurse: Give Because Every Child Deserves a School Nurse!

The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) is launching the President’s Endowment Challenge for the academic year 2024-2025, and the theme couldn’t be more crucial: “Advocating for Equity.”

About the NASN President’s Endowment Challenge: This initiative aims to raise funds to support research on school nursing’s influence on health and education outcomes. The focus is on identifying quality systems-level school health services interventions that can truly make a difference in the lives of students. The endowment fund also plays a vital role in offering scholarships to school nurses interested in pursuing advanced nursing practice degrees and certifications. Notably, it includes the new Diversity in School Nursing Scholarship, emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in the field.

Shared Leadership for Equity: One of NASN’s key goals is to pursue health, education, and social equity for students through shared leadership. By contributing to this challenge, you become a part of a movement that seeks to address disparities and create positive change in the lives of students across the nation.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference: The NASN Endowment Fund supports school nurses by funding grants aimed at improving school nursing practice and the delivery of healthcare in school settings. Your contribution directly contributes to these grants, enabling school nurses to enhance their skills and implement impactful interventions.

How to Contribute: If you are passionate about advancing equity in education and supporting the vital role of school nurses, NASN is inviting you to donate to the President’s Endowment Fund. Visit the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) website’s Give page to contribute and be a part of this transformative initiative.

Together, Let’s Make a Difference: By joining the NASN President’s Endowment Challenge, you become a catalyst for positive change in school health and education. Your contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in shaping a more equitable future for students across the country.

Thank you for considering and supporting this important cause.
