I mapped out the model I call Play with Purpose for developing player game sense as people were telling me that the model I was discussing filled a missing 'piece' of information for them about the Game Sense approach- when, why or how to use 'other' teaching styles in a game based approach (GBA). It depends on the task outcome requirements.

Cleland’s (2011) depiction of an enriched learning environment in PE should be considered together with M cBride's (1991b, 1997) suggestion that PE teachers need to use teaching styles that promote inquiry, in addition to creating movement contexts and activity environments designed to foster the dispositions that support thinking processes.
