Sharon Guthrie, PhD, ARNP, CPNP, NCSN, RN-BC Dear friends, On September 8th, 2023 , Sharon Guthrie , a beloved school nurse, Executive Director of the Iowa School Nurses Organization , friend to many, dedicated nursing professor, and advocate, had a life-altering motorcycle accident on her way to work. She is currently in critical but stable condition at the University of Iowa Hospital, where we fervently hope for her full and speedy recovery.
