NASN offers a membership guide and an editable template letter to share with administrators or employers. Remember, if we don’t ask, the answer is always no!

This will help you prioritize your efforts and allocate resources effectively. Ask for your school district to support you by paying for membership to NASN and your state organization. Many states are affiliates of NASN which means membership to NASN includes state membership as well.

It is a good time to share my very first blog, published in July of 2017, as part of the “homework” assigned by past NASN Director of Communications, Margaret Cellucci, who led a blogging workshop at NASN 2017 conference in San Diego. My first conference was in Philly, my hometown, in 2015.
