Fishin’ for Change: Combining Physical Education and Outdoor Recreation

Each year, our school’s Gone Fishin’ trip combines physical education with outdoor recreation. Overall, we have found fishing a great fit for our students developmentally across the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. It’s also a great help to own or borrow enough rods to use them in PE classes prior to the trip.
