Let me introduce myself. My name is Casey Page and I am a physical education teacher in Shelby County, Kentucky, which is a suburb of Louisville. I also coach golf and am an assistant athletic director at our school, but I have always thought of myself as a teacher first. In March 2024, I was lucky enough to be named the 2024 SHAPE America National High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year!

Mark has been in the field of education since 1976. Mark’s journey in education brought him to Arizona in 1982 where he began teaching adapted physical education at the Arizona Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. While at ASDB, he helped to organize and develop the first ever Adapted Sports Program for sensory impaired, multi-disabled students. The program included opportunities in adapted sport organizations such as the Special Olympics, Disabled Sports USA and USABA.

This parent went on to say that she was caught off guard. Even though she has talked with her child about sex and puberty, she hadn’t discussed pornography.
